Badass Women at Any Age

Dec 1, 2020

Description

Ruth Saunders is a successful entrepreneur as the head of her own strategic consultancy advising businesses on customer growth, marketing and branding. But her path to success wasn’t straightforward, leading to a lot of self-reflection, learning and growth. Brought up in a religious farming community in England, Ruth was raised with strong religious beliefs.  Although she credits her upbringing for her hard working ethic and values, she also recognized that this same upbringing did not shape her well for commercial success. Leaving home at the age of 17 to study at University, Ruth embarked on a 7 year journey of growth – challenging her own beliefs and working hard to understand the rules of the corporate world. After spending 20 years in a corporate setting, Ruth realized she loved her work, but hated the politics, particularly in male-dominated work environments. Motivated to live life on her terms, Ruth started her own consulting business and found immense success creating a space where she can be herself, do what she loves and live by her rules.
