Badass Women at Any Age

Apr 30, 2024

Dr. Klapow is a clinical psychologist, behavioral scientist, and performance coach who helps women in leadership positions leverage their unique style and build influence to successfully navigate the male dominated culture in which they work.  Josh is a Phi Beta Kappa alumnus of University of California, L.A. with a Ph. D. in clinical psychology from UCLA San Diego.  He's authored over 100 scientific publications and is the author of Living Smart:Lifestyle Change Made Simple. “ As a clinical psychologist, I can't unsee what I'm trained to see.”

“It's a no win situation because we're asking you to be “more like men”, but when you are, that scene is threatening.”

“I see a lot of women that I work with who absolutely get lost because they are literally forced to play all of these different roles, many of which are not true to their own persona.”

“We all have these different personas that are who we are.”

“ There are a lot of scared men, this is part of the problem, who are in leadership positions who have no clue  how to be. They have all the power in the world in that organization, and they don't know how to leverage it in a supportive way because they're insecure.”

“Look for the healthy psychology or psychological adjustment in the person. Not necessarily the gender.”
