Overcoming the challenges of being one of the few females in the marines, Charlene Wilde attributes her sense of empowerment to the example her mother set.  Understanding the importance of structure from her own military upbringing, Charlene has successfully found balance between family and corporate life.   Charlene is a veteran of the army chemical corps, active duty army spouse and mother.  She currently works as senior  vice president at American Armed Forces Mutual Aid Association, the nation's largest and longest standing military financial services non-profit organization, where she has the distinction of being the first female executive.
